Best Kept Secret

I found this book riveting. Beath is a master storyteller. He knows how to effortlessly manipulate his audience without ever being detected. His writing is cutting, innovative and exacting. His character development and use of metaphor and imagery is excellent. This book far surpasses that of a simple straightforward horror story. It is literature at its finest. Beath is a truly gifted artist. I would recommend this book to anyone who appreciates good writing and an incredible story. Rarely do we find these two factors together anymore, but Beath adeptly combines the two. The last 100 pages had me glued to my seat. I was mesmerized and completely caught within Beath's web. This is one writer I want to see more from.
