This is one of the greatest books around for child crochet. I love the fact that the patterns range from newborn to 2T for most patterns. It is so hard to find cute patterns for newborns, most books start sizing at 6months. All the clothes are made with a DK or baby sport weight yarn but they are so cute. Not recomended for the beginner for there are alot of differnt pattern techniques and sizing, plus several items call for snap tape which can be a pain to put in. But I have made my children almost every pattern in the book and the sizes grow with them. A++
Simple Crochet

This book is wonderful. There is a wide variety of projects. The instructions are clear and easy to follow and the pictures of the finished projects are absolutely delightful. One word of caution, although it is titled "Simple Crochet..." almost all the projects in this book are classed as intermediate and require a certain degree of shaping and finishing.
Very pretty, simple patterns

Before purchasing this book I had only crocheted blankets, scarves and hats. This was my first try at anything more. I love it! I made the kimono jumper, the booties, the bibs and the heirloom blanket and every single item turned out just like the pics. I simply followed each direction step by step. I'm excited to try the dress next.

Once I saw this book I knew I had to have it. I think I have made just about everything in this book, I started from page one and just worked my way through. The patterns are so simple yet beautiful and they are easy to make and the bonus is they look cute on the baby. The are also assembled so it is user friendly for dressing the baby. The little pink cotton dress with matching hat was my daughters favorite and she looks so cute. This is a must for any crochet's collection.
Best Collection of Baby Patterns

I have many books on crochet and many specifically on crocheting for babies and toddlers. This book has the best collection of patterns for babies by far. The baby clothes inside are adorable and up-to-date. It also has patterns for cute stuffed animals and gorgeous blankets. This is the book you'd want to buy first if you're looking to crochet something as a gift or for your own baby.
