A Young Adult pretending to be for adults

I, as a general rule, avoid books intended for Young Adults. I prefer books that are not afraid to go all the way into the darkest, roughest areas. I understand that books written for teens cannot, generally, delve into topics that are "too adult" lest they be banned. But this book slipped by me and while I honestly tried to give it a shot, by the second story I was annoyed. Maybe if I was 14 or 15 years old I would find it titillating but it just kept coming up as bland. I just noticed that the information portion listed it as for grades 7 and up, so my bad. Sorry, I'm sure some of the writers are excellent, but this is not my cup of tea.

This was the first anthology of short stories that I've ever read, and I LOVED IT. The authors were amazing with how they took the inspirations that they had and creating such amazing and downright creepy stories. I am immediately buying this when I get paid next. If you love AHS, or any kind of horror, this book is for you!!!
