The Ultimate Guide To Audition Preparation."I wish I had known about SLATE PLEASE, before spending thousands of dollars, trying to learn, on our own, the tools that are necessary to get started and how to succeed, in the Performing Arts. I have purchased many books related to getting started in the industry, but your book surpasses them all. It's easy to read, cuts through the chase, and contains a wealth of information in such a small book.When I began reading your book, I couldn't put it down. It was like a rush of adrenaline in my blood. I highlighted all the information that applied to us(like all of it...lol),then I gave it to my daughter to read. After she read it, she commented, "OMG! everything we need to know is in this book." She insists on keeping it for her own personal reference. I used to be terrified of auditions, but now that I've read and put into practice the tips Toni's book offers, auditions are a piece of cake. The director knows I'm prepared, I know I am and the audition goes well.I had no idea how important preparation was to getting considered for a job!At an audition, I can actually tell who knows and who does not know the information in 'Slate Please.'Thank you Toni for the idea and the ability to put this together for me!

I have been a professional actor for over 10 years; but my younger brother is just starting out. We both loved the book !!! I was reminded of many Industry essentials that I had forgotten (or frankly didn't know ;-), and my brother is getting off to a much faster start with his acting career that I ever did. If I had this book when I was getting started...today, I'd be pulling in million$!
