Perfect for the Budding Reader but a Great Picture Book Too

Poor Bear just wants to sleep but nature isn't cooperating. All of the little creatures of the forest aren't ready to let him rest. This sends Bear on a fun adventure to catch some winks. Bear soon finds himself even more annoyed by bees, frogs and bugs. He swims. He climbs. He tries to hide. Bear just can't get away. And then. Oh no! Bear takes a stumble. Then a tumble. As he tries to escape them, he ends up finding the perfect place to take a snooze. Surrounded by the beauty of nature, he finally finds himself at peace with his surroundings and enjoys the beauty of the night sky -- bugs and all. Sleepyhead Bear is geared to the Baby-Preschool reading level and is fun for both parents and children. The words encourage readers to make fun bug sounds as they read and the rhyming is perfect for budding readers without being too complicated.
