This little book asks the important questions, who will be using the rooms, what are the best and worst points and what style do you really like. Each room's unique issues are examined. While Ms. Scattergood shows inspirational rooms, that is all they are. There is not one style of decorating held above others. She goes on to explain not only what types of furniture would look good in a space, but the whys of each piece. Just as she advocates using each bit of space to its fullest, Ms. Scattergood gives only the basic bones of good style.
