This book is hilarious! But, it also helped me to take a step back and laugh at situations that would otherwise be stressful, and that I'm sure we can all relate to. Ms. Grambs zeroes in on the snags of all relationships, from romantic to platonic to parental. While offering tongue-in-cheek advice that I often wished I could take literally, she kept me giggling the whole way through. I look forward to reading the next installment.

Made Me Wish I Was A Smart Girl

As a lifelong member of the male gender, this book not only made me roar with laughter but wish that I could take Alison Grambs' advice as to how to deal with a man such as myself. I am not a bad person, mind you. But I can totally relate to a few (okay, most) of the lousy things that guys do to women. And they're repulsive. And worthy of the retorts and semi-civil acts of revenge that Ms. Grambs suggests. I hardily applaud her ability as an author to recall her obviously personal hurts and put them to good use as a guide to other victims of rude, uncaring, ego-centric men. So much so that as the father of two girls who are of dating age, I have made my girls memorize this book in an attempt to provide an ounce of prevention against men like their father.
