This is an excellent book that lays out the Smoke Jensen saga. From first book to last these books by J.A. Johnstone as well written, full of action and include twists and turns. Johnstone adds several historical information like mountain range, naming of rivers and streams, how the paths into the mountains were forged. The story goes from place to place and with new characters in each, except for Smoke Jensen and Preacher (another sequel by Johnstone.) I recommend reading these in order to keep the characters and locations straight. You're going to love it!
