Bev Garrett is a native Oregonian. Born and raised in the beautiful Willamette Valley. After working and raising their family in Seattle, Los Angeles as well as Portland, she and her husband Stephen now live in their hometown of Eugene. Her passions have always spun around the creative. It may be photography, painting and drawing the serious to the whimsical or creating all kinds of items from new fabrics as well as the repurposed variety that drives her passion. It seems writing has always been in her blood. Her desire to tell a story, whether it be in free verse, a short story or in novel form started at a very young age. "Snapshots" is Bev's first book. Taking small pieces of everyday life and condensing them into situations that hopefully, every reader can relate to, ponder and be inspired by. This second edition adds one story, changes the format of several of the longer poems to short stories and corrects errors in the first edition.
