A good book for children to read although the story is a bit disjointed

This colorful book based on the characters in the comic strip "Peanuts" is a good book for young people learning to read. However, the story line is a bit disjointed. Snoopy is once again taking on the Red Baron, but bounces back and forth between his imaginative adventures as a World War I flying ace and reality. There is a caption of the imagination followed by a caption of reality. Therefore, it lacks some of the charm of the other stories where the imaginative tale is developed over several captions. The artwork of the images is colorful and eye-catching.
Very nice book!

Our little one LOVES Snoopy so when I saw this at a discounted price, I grabbed it. Well, it's the definite favorite in the house and gets read nightly at least once if not more. I have always loved Snoopy and his Red Baron adventures, how that doghouse gets shot up every time and Snoopy has to bail and lands in his dog dish. This time, the round-headed kid is a spy and gets a rock tossed at him, only for it to land in the full supper dish and Charlie Brown winds up with canned dog food all over his face. Lucy tries to get Snoopy to get a real job but he thinks his job is to get the Red Baron. All-in-all, the book is sorta sketchy story-wise and ends on an odd note. Snoopy gets rained on and climbs into bed with Charlie Brown and smells like "a wet pilot." It just didn't really have a conclusion. Did Snoopy get the Baron or did he get away again? I would have liked to see more story continuation in this book. It is a book for young readers but it also needs to teach continuation as well. I think the ending could have been a little more conclusive but other than that, it's really a great book. Highly recommend!
