The game of Snot Stew that Kikki the kitten's young owners play is setting a bad example for Kikki's brother, Toby. He's turning into a bully -- and that spells danger when he starts taunting Butch, the nasty dog on the other side of the fence. Can Kikki keep Toby from getting into big trouble? And will she have the courage to rescue him if he does?
This book was my son's favorite. He must of read it about a thousand times, if he read it once.
He left it at my house when he got married, and kept telling his sons that it was his best book.
I had to buy it (again) because we could not find it.
I hope my grandsons love it as much as we did.

I read this book to my 3rd grade class every year. They love it!!!!!!!! When it is time to stop reading for the day they beg for me to continue. They talk about the book to each other. They tell the parts they like best and what they think will happen next. It is a delightful book. The two cats are so lovable. The story is not too long or too short, it is just right. Bill Wallace wrote a great book.
A MUST READ!

Bill Wallace's book, Snot Stew, is a very funny, and energizing children's book. It's about two kittens named, Toby and Kikki, who are adopted by a boy and a girl. This book is the best childrens book I have ever read. It is easy to read and extremely funny. The book is written from the kittens' point of view which makes the book even more interesting. The adventures the two kittens go on will have you rolling on the floor. The part of the book I liked the best was when the boy and the girl were fighting over something, and they were yelling at each other "Is not!" "Is too!" "Isnot!" "Istoo!" "Snot!" "Stew!" The major conflict was when the kittens got out of the fence, and the neighbor dog, Butch, a cat eating dog, almost ate them. Toby and Kikki were lucky enough to get away before the dog ate them. I can't really relate to the kittens, but I can relate to the girl. I can understand how she gets into conflicts with her brother. I get into conflicts with my sisters all the time. I also have a dog that is very protective of his territory. If any other dog comes on my yard he barks and creates a ruckus. In that way I can relate to Butch, the dog in the book. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and recomend it to everyone
