Life was finally getting back to normal for Laurie Carr after her parents' divorce. Then she heard the voice calling out in the night: Please, help me It was the cry of a helpless child--only no one else seemed to notice it. And no one would believe Laurie.
I like this book, because I like how the author describes the cries for help. The author really gets into describing the little boy's cry for help. She makes the reader curious about the future of the book.Although it is written in first person this book is one of the best I have ever read.I personally think that first person books are more believable and exciting.
