Six months ago Charlotte Rodgers' three daughters walked out on her. Charlotte is resentful and bitter towards her children for leaving her to face the memories of her painful past. What Charlotte doesn't know is that the past will soon catch up with her.
It is always good to read work from my Denver homegirl, JD Mason but this one is a sleeper.
She uses the same characters and plots from previous novels and just expanded on their stories. To me, this was a lazy way to create new work (honestly, this is not new but revisited). The story surrounds Charlotte Rodgers and her 3 daughters and their troubles and includes the family of Andre. This novel just drags on forever and makes it so depressing. I couldn't wait until the end. The best thing about this novel is the last 2 chapters.
I will still continue to support Ms.Mason but this one is a truly throw away.
