I guess Mr. Jones really believed in the phrase "less is more" because this wonderfully written book proves it. There's no padding here, just rich Texas history and lore with beautifully etched memorable characters.If by chance this cast of heros and villans grabs you, tracking them down in Mr. Jones' previous books is a must. His art and craft will be missed.
