Tap into the powerful forces of magick and embark on a transformative journey. Everything you need to know to develop the art of sorcery is included in this no-nonsense, practical guide. Uncover the truth about what sorcery, witchcraft, and shamanism are--and what they aren't. Find out how all the different kinds of magick really work, how to use them properly, how to protect yourself and work safely, and how to use your latent psychic ability. Acquire the appropriate tools and equipment and see how to perform rituals and cast strong spells to affect the weather, find a soul mate, increase success, heal a headache, charm an animal, move an object, ignite a spark, and more. Plenty of practice exercises are included to help you evaluate your progress. Beginners will have no problem getting started, and those with more experience will find plenty of new material and ideas.
I would have to state that this is not the type of Magick which is practiced by the Golden Dawn as most people are looking for. This is more of a Pagan Magick Handbook. I'm not really into Pagan Magick, but this book has its title. I'm giving 5 stars for the contents and the rituals used. Precisely written and informative. It covers the basic line of shadow, enchantment, nature, and arcane magick. These magick are mostly low magick, but they are quite useful. I would recommend this book for those who are Wiccans, Witches, or Pagans. If you are a Kabbalist, you might be disappointed. But every magick is an art on its own.
Excellent, easy to follow guide book

This book is very well written and a highly enjoyable read. The spells it gives are easy to follow no matter what experience you have (or don't have).I was amazed that such an affordable book contained such an indepth look at magik. Many books tell you 'roughly' how to cast a particular spell, but this one leaves nothing out, walking you through step by step and explaining WHY it works as well as HOW.Best of all, most of the spells it provides are practical and useful, things that will help you in every day life.Ideal if you are just 'curious' or just getting started, and a super reference guide for the more experienced. This book is easily worth 4 times the price.
The Sorcerer's Instructor

To those of you who are interested in dabbing into the arts of Magick. I recommend this book to you. The book is an excellent presentation of taking an actual class in Sorcerory. I just got it June 18th, 2002 and that very same day I made it to Chapter 3. The book is so well written that I can't seem to put it down. Grab the book fellow sisters and brothers who are in the arts. I don't think you will be let down. Plus, it is pretty affordable for a book.
A must have for any practitioner

This book is by far one of the most useful I have seen in a while. Mr. Clark goes in depth about the whys and hows of magic, exercises to help one improve one's success rate, and covers areas a lot of other books skip completely. Well written so anyone can read it, and in depth enough that everyone can get something out of it.
If it's practical magic you want, here's where it's at

I've just got my hands on the sorcerer's handbook. It has plenty of practical magic in it, like spells and rituals, and the author also goes into a good amount of detail about magic, how it really works, why it works, history and even about Nature and how it all hangs together. A good reference for any witch, wizard, sorcerer ... go for it!
