Kelly Angle's book is a quick read on a handful of very simple strategies along with backtests, something the author deserves a lot of credit for producing. The concepts are sound and time tested, and should be viewed as a starting point rather than an end. They include, * Basic Fading the Gap Strategy * Riding the Trend * Wide Range Bar Capitulation The real value of the book is when you read between the lines and listen to the lessons it teaches. * keep it simple * test before you trade * ride winners and cut losers short * even with low winning percentages, combining simple strategies with small edges will drastically smooth out the equity curve
