Kevin Ryan has produced another outstanding Star Trek book. As usual, it is fast-paced and includes stories behind the main plot which are fun. I'm looking forward to his future books which I know will be coming. Thanks Kevin, for a entertaining and exciting book

Mr. Ryan has done it again with this superbly written finish to a wonderful series. One of my favorite things about this author is that he never fails to add tons of nuances from the original episodes. From some of the obscure characters and references to the much theorized back-stories behind the original adventures. Like much of the series, the events in this book lead up to and surround those in the episode, "Errand of Mercy." In the episode, we just heard about the coming war between the Federation and the Klingon Empire. This book (as well as Ryan's entire series) map out the exciting and surprising events that lead up to that conflict. It's like having DVD extras for several of the original episodes! Again, this is a must-buy for any Star Trek fan!
