Good overall, but needs survival analysis

Susan Shott does a good job presenting statistics with a variety of real world examples drawn from medical studies. She has some biases, which are controvercial, like her discounting the fisher exact test. I found the examples using output from SAS and SPSS helpful, but a more modern text would have done well to use R. What is missing is any analysis of survival data or Kaplan Meier pluts. Analysis of survival data is common in the medical literature.

This book is written in clear English and has great examples. The author presents a logical approach to choosing a statistical test.
