They took away hormone replacement therapy and now hot flashes are back with a vengeance. What's a menopausal gal to do? If you're tired of fanning yourself in meetings or in line at the grocery store, cool your heels and take pleasure in these stories that provide inspiration and humor from those who have gone to the front lines of the battle -- and survived. Here's how other savvy, sexy women have tamed the mid-life demons and stayed lean, even keeled, and in charge of "the change"
This book, part of a series of 'Staying Sane' through some of the common experiences of life features a series of stories/articles/essays or whatever you'd call them from people who've 'been there, done that, and made every other mistake as well.' The editors of this book are female. Most of the articles are by females, and I feel obligated to make a make comment or two. First and perhaps second, third and fourth -- This is not anything within your realm of experience. You have no hope of understanding what's going on. The stories you are told, and the explanations you hear make no sense at all. But cheer up, it only lasts for about ten years. Oh yes, you may want to find a friendly bar nearby for when you're thrown out of the house, you'll probably be let back in eventually. If you're seen other wives go through this, tyours will be different, this book will give you a lot of humor. If you're new to the game, there is more truth here than you would expect.
