who needs to buy expensive full size plans when you can build right out of this book some of the best kayaks ever designed. some like the North Bay have become collectible peices of art which you simply can't get from CLC anymore build one with a strip deck incorporating the tecnique taught in Nick schade's books and you have realy got it made!!! a little lacking on those extra tips which make your first experience not so scary but still very much recomended!

The book is very well written and very informative. The plans are a bit small, but since they do include matrix numbers, you could use them to build the boats. I am very excited about building the boat and I hope that I will be able to afford the material soon.
Very good book

If you want build a boat, this is the book! Very good! And very simple too, you just need to have hands and will. I do living in Brazil, and I do read and speak english a little, but the book is very simple to read and understand. I'd start my own boat last week. []s Mauzim
