Stones and Bones

In this incredibly short, but packed, pamphlet, Carl Wieland takes some strong jabs at evolution. I like the fact that Wieland's pamphlet is accessible, and that it discusses some major problems with the theory of evolution. In addition, there are some great pictures, which reveal some interesting information about the theory of evolution...like the dinosaur to bird theory. The one problem that I have with this "book", and most books that aim to refute evolution is the fact that the writer's attempt to "witness" to the readers. Writers that aim to defeat evolution should stick to the scientific information, because that is all it takes. Let the facts defeat evolution. I do not like the whole save your soul or burn in hell ending. If people are reading this material it is obviously because they have questions. I say, let them do their own exploring, so that they can strengthen their own beliefs. If people simply stop researching because they are afraid of burning in hell, what sort of enlightenment do they attain? The answer is, of course, none. Read Wieland, but, do not allow him to witness to you because of the information. If you want to find faith, read some other, great literature on the subject. Lee Strobel, C.S. Lewis and Josh McDowell are just a few of the great writers out there. Read the "book" for the small, but tantalizing, arguments against evolution, and nothing more.

Dr. Wieland's booklet was handed out to over 6000 teachers during the more recent NEA Conventions.The information in the booklet has proven to be most provocative & enlightening to those who have be victims of scientific censorship of valid empirical data that is unfavorable to evolutionary beliefs and dogma!
