I have my 4th grader doing this book. It is a little bit of a struggle. The lessons are quite long for us so we take 2 days for each lesson. There are 42 lessons with a time line, lesson goal, background text, memory verse, questions,and then thought questions for every lesson. This book covers from Creation to King Saul and so lessons are just highlighting the the greater happenings, not every little detail.
