I agree with the School Library Journal review--a fine book for children/families familiar with church, and an accurate picture of how many kids experience worship. I especially like the fact that it follows a boy's point of view, as the great majority of children's books featuring black church worship are about girls (see my Listmania list, African American Sundays/Church in Children's Books).
