Call it all-American pride. Call it vengeance. The Ocean Voyager is on course. A thirty-thousand-ton undercover assault warship set loose in the Middle East. For Colonel Ryder Long of the U.S. Air Force, fighting to win is in his blood. The same could be said for Bobby Murphy-real identity unknown-a shadowy military genius and super spy programmed for revenge. The crew: Superhawks, a crack secret op team bound by a single war cry: "Remember the Twin Towers " Their target is Abdul Kazeel, a notorious madman with connections throughout the Persian Gulf. Infamous in the terrorist underworld and top mission planner for Al Qaeda, he's planning a new attack on America with a destructive force that threatens the future of the free world. Only the Superhawks can stop this enemy dead in his desert tracks as they declare their own war in full explosive fury and enforce world peace through any means necessary.
If you still get PO'd by what happened on 9/11, this series of books is for you ! It's not about rounding up innocent Believers of Islam nor thinking that everyone from the Middle East is a terrorist in-hiding. It's about finding and getting revenge on every person that took part in those cowardly attacks on our country ! My only 'regret' about the series is that IS just fiction ! We actually need an outfit like this, not bogged down in red tape or Rules of Engagement but with only 3 simple rules: Identify, Verify and Exterminate. -Sleep tight Osama, we've NOT forgotten and we WILL get you !-
STRIKE FORCE ALPHA SHOWS HOW THE WAR ON TERROR SHOULD BE FOUGHT!
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 19 years ago
Chosen from the top military men in their field, because each man lost someone they loved to terrorism, this rogue force of Dela Force, Marines, and Navy Seals gives back to terrorists what they have been dishing out; TERROR! The result is a great book, and series on America's War on Terror, and shows us the only way this war can be fought, and Won! Loads of action, a great plot, and well drawn out characters, with personalities lacking in many, if not most books of this type, Strike Force Alpha is a great book in the first of the best series to be written on this subject to date! WARNING; Anyone concerned with "Political Correctness" or sympathies for those who blindsided us on 9/11 SHOULD NOT READ THIS BOOK!

The book told reader's how we should take care of tango'. The people in the book really know how to do the job right. So if we have to act like them so be it.
A Great Read

I don't care what anybody else says about this book. I loved it. Some people complained about the violence level. Well, all I have to say to that is what do you think retribution for an unspeakable act would involve. Violence, extreme, bloody and swift. Personally, I think it's the public's "sensitivity" level that is causing the real wars (I haven't forgotten Afganistan, even if most of America has)in the Middle east to drag on so long. I wish to God there was a group like the hero's in this series. Plus, I'm really glad that Mr. Maloney actually seems to care about the military, unlike quite a few Jane Fonda wanna-be actors (if you don't understand the reference, look up Jane Fonda and the Viet Nam war). Anyways, if you are looking for an interesting fast-paced story that doesn't tapdance around some very troubling current events, pick up this book.
Great Book at the Beach

This was a great, fun read for those who like spy novels, Le Carre, Clancy, etc. This is really how we should fight the war on terror, I found myself hoping as I read the book. Great fiction. I read it in a couple of days at the beach.
