This book is really great for anyone who is either experiencing a divorce or is even separated. The book is not all pro-divorce either, but explores counseling, trial separations, and other forms of peacemaking. For the most part though, it gives practical advice on coping with issues such as property, alimony, custody of children and/or pets, in-laws, lawyers, emotional pain, and even recreating your life after a divorce. I was fortunate in that my wife and I worked things out, but the scare gave me a chance to review this book and perhaps improve my empathy for people who deal with this tragedy.
