It was, as one would suspect, different from the original novel, but quite enjoyable. The art was delightful and added a quality that I found enhancing to this version of the story as a separate entity. One should not compare it to the original or you might be disappointed. Considered on its own, I found it to stand up on its own merits. My one complaint with ordering it here is that the title above mentioned and this one: Remembrance of Things Past 1: Swann in Love (Remembrance of Things Past (Graphic Novels)) (Purchased on 08/30/2008) by Marcel Proust are both the same. I ended up ordering two of the same book. So be careful not to do the same thing.
