Laughter from the First Bite to the Last Crumb

I find myself going back to Sweet Memories over and over again as the hilarious humor is very obvious and also very subtle. I just now saw the subtitle "A Gingerbread Family Scrapbook" with the S askew making it Crapbook. It's a great book for those who need their laughter box fed. The lives and adventures of Fred and Ginger Bread take us from marriage to the grave. The episode with the milkman and little daughter Cookie's schooling at the Our Lady of Immaculate Confection had me rolling in the aisles. It's a real keeper!

Very funny book with hysterical illustrations featuring real cookies in "everyday" situations. The story follows Fred and Ginger Bread as they date, marry, set up house, have children and fall prey to the foibles that strike us all. The little details are a riot (a scapbook includes "baby's first spatula", a hospital bill after a skiiing accident has a charge for "crumb reconstruction") and the cookies look good enough to eat. A great holiday gift idea - I'm going to give several. Note: The story includes adult themes - this is NOT a children's book (but is all the funnier because of it!).
