Lovely Italian desert cook book, perfect for a gift.

This charming little Italian desert cook book provides the historical information sadly lacking in so many ethnic recipe books. Easy to follow recipes, interesting information about their preparation and usages, and the book's compact size and bright cover make this the perfect "gift" cookbook. The only drawback is that the book lacks photos of the food, which I really think are essential, especially in dealing with foods that are unfamiliar.
