I happened to pick up this book before the prequil (A Taste of Honey). The first couple of pages are daunting if you haven't met the Morrow family before but once I got through them I found a wonderful story. The story of Sterling and Ethan is well written with just enough angst to keep me interested without getting into doom and gloom. I even found myself looking forward to the next chapter in the sub-story of Princess Sugarlips!

This historical novel a tender tale of love, devotion and doing what is right, even if the timing is wrong. Ethan Morrow eventually found his heart desire was already in the town that he longed to leave. Sterling Phillips found her true love was actually the man that almost destroyed the life of her beloved son, Worth.
