Rhyming poetry done well, can be very pleasing to the ear, and fun to read. And when the poetry tells a story one can relate to in some way, then the poet has succeeded in communicating with his reader.I painstakingly create my poetry using true-rhymes, consistent rhyming and syllabic conventions, and uniform accents. Each and every poem I've included in this book has an easy cadence to it, which makes it enjoyable to read.I have written an introduction to each of my poems, revealing why I wrote the poem, the inspiration behind the poem, and some context to aid the reader in unpacking as much meaning as possible from every line of poetry. And finally, I've included some complimentary feedback from a few of my on-line poetry colleagues, as well as some quotes by famous and not so famous personalities, in the hopes that the comments and quotes will add pleasure to your reading experience.
