Nobody gave a thought for the Vampires when the zombie apocalypse started. The Rapture, as it became known, was fast and brutal, and within days the Vampires were forced to watch their food supply turn into inedible, walking husks of rotting flesh. This story follows Vae, a newly created Vampire, as he adjusts to life within his new family and is forced to accept a set of priorities very different from his usual daily survival ritual. An illness, known throughout the Vampire race as the Blood Rage, forces him to deal with the aftermath of his bouts of sickness as he tries to protect those closest to him. As his creator and partner explains to him, "The life of a Vampire isn't just sex, sex and more sex." Although, that's a very good place to start.
