OMG, I looove this book!!

I just finished Take the Reins and I love it so much! It's a book that I'll read again and again. I'm giving my copy to my friend, but I want it back. LOL. Take the Reins is awesome because it has a great mix of boys, drama and horse stuff. Even if you don't like horses, you'll love this book. Trust me! Charm is my favorite horse and now I want to get a horse. I ride but I don't have one. The second book is already out and I'm getting it tomorrow. :) I have to know what happened between Heather (mean girl) and Sasha. And I *have* to know if Jacob and Sasha are together after winter break. Read it!

Hmmmmm.... Where to start??? First of all, I LOVE this book! The way that it's written is great. It isn't all about horses, there's also some of that popular vs. new girl rivalry in it. The horse-ness in it really described the connection between Sasha and Charm.... It was really realistic. (Really realistic? Hmmm.) I'm not ruining the ending for you. It ends with the usual dancing at a party with a cute boy. No more said! Ummm, yeah, that's about it! I'm getting Chasing Blue tomorrow! I'm hoping it'll be as good, or better than Take the Reins. (This is umm, 2 or 3 months after I read Take the Reins. *Smacks forehead* So this is what I've been forgetting to do for 3 months!) ~(Insert my name)~

This book is awesome. I didn't want it to end. I can not wait for the rest of the series to come out. I feel like the book is real. You will love this book.

This is the best book I ever read in my whole entire life. It is all really good. I love the horses. I love the characters. I feel like I am at Canterwood. I wish it were my school. I highly recomend this book to every one.

So I'm a little bit older (ahem..) than the intended audience of Take the Reins, but it didn't matter because I loved the book. Sasha just wants to succeed at her new school, the equestrian-based Canterwood Crest Academy, but it's rather difficult when she has to deal with "The Trio", three mean girls who will stop at nothing to make sure that Sasha won't get a spot on the school's Advanced Riding Team. As time marches on to the big tryout, it's ever girl for herself to secure a spot on that coveted team. To do so, the girls must engage in cut-throat competition, making Sasha wonder if she really is Canterwood material after all...
