Will the price of fame be worth the cost?Filmmakers Chase Ryan and Keith Ellison have completed their first feature film, and Hollywood is buzzing with the news. In the wake of that excitement, the... This description may be from another edition of this product.
I was a fan of Take One, and couldn't wait until this audiobook version of TAKE TWO. I loved the characters; sympathized greatly with the wife left at home, struggling with her eating disorder. And of course, I enjoyed the Hollywood setting and the trials and tribulations of the men trying to maintain their Christian values in the Hollywood world. Also, having the POV of the younger generation and their struggles with right and wrong. Once again, I listened to the CD version and found it highly entertaining and so much more interesting than a single reader; I listened to the Cds on my long commute home and when I run in the mornings. I use my eyes at lot at work, and prefer to rest them and let these wonderful narrators tell me the story. If you enjoy romance and Hollywood, and a family-value storyline, this is a great listen. I have lent this to a friend of mine who makes films, and I hope she enjoys it as much as I did.

I have both books in this series and have been anxiously waiting for the second one to be printed. I plan on reading them while recovering from surgery. Anything that Karen Kingsbury writes it fantastic. She is a very gifted and talented writer. I have managed to collect all of her books. What a library.
Another wonderful installment

Anytime Karen Kingsbury realeases a new book, I set aside whatever other novel I am reading, and start reading her new book. Take Two was a wondereful installment for the series. I am loving reading about Cody and Bailey's relationship, and anxiously awaiting the day they finally get together. I also really like Andi Ellison, and while what happens with her in this book is heart-wretching, I know in the end Karen will redeem her, and that's something else I cannot wait to read. My only, very minor, complaint is there wasn't enough of the Baxter family in this one.
Great book!

I loved this book even better then Take One. I love Cody and Bailey..and I was cheering for them the whole way through. I really liked how the story was about Kelly, Chase's wife and all about her struggles. In the end, she became closer to God. I can't wait for Take Three. Each one just gets better and better!!

Another wonderful book by Karen Kingsbury. Let me say first that I have read almost everything Karen Kingsbury has written. She is by far my favorite author. Besides captivating story lines her books do come with a strong moral message. Sometimes I think the message may come across just a little bit too repetitively, but all in all, I love her work, and this book was no exception. (If there are any weaknesses in Karen's writing style, I have found them to be easily overlooked in favor of the interesting characters and story lines.) Enjoyed following up on all the characters and I am eagerly awaiting the next installment. Some fiction works I have difficulty jumping into, but this is never the case with a Kingsbury book. Sure wish she could write 'em as fast as we can read 'em!
