Taste of Treme is a taste of Louisiana and NOLA for sure
Published by Susan , 2 years ago
208 pages with recipes on almost every page with MANY NOLA-related notations. There are a decent number of full-color images, although very few of the prepared dishes. Just about ALL of the recipes sound wonderful. Two that are of special interest to me are Cajun Tasso and Pickled Pork. Now, these may not seem to be two recipes to get excited over, but if you’re a native of Louisiana and had to (for one reason or another) relocate, you know that these are two items that are probably not carried in any of your local grocery stores. And, if you order them online, the shipping will be prohibitive. I’m anxious to try these two recipes soon and I know I’ll enjoy simply reading through the book. It’ll be like a quick trip back home. Taste of Treme is a book I’m glad I ordered.
