This book is really good for anyone who wants to learn C or is just beginning there foray into the programming world. The book is so good because it very easy to read and not complicated in its explanation of its C code examples and all the syntax and grammar. Yet its very complete. There are some typos but overall an excellent intro to C.
Great book!

I have what I believe is the first edition of this book (yellow cover). The book is problably the best programming book I ever read. It's well written and easy to follow. Mr.Siegel seems to predict the questions I had. Most of them were well explained a few lines ahead. Being a great programmer is not enough when it comes to writting a good programming book. Knowing how to teach and understanding others difficulties is probably more important. Mr. Siegel did a great job on this one.
It is a very well written Intorduction to C Programming

I taught myself C through this book and a compiler I picked up somewhere. It is a learning tutorial, not a reference book. An excellent instrructional tool.
