If you are travelling to Italy for a visit then this is the book for you to learn about Italy. The title is a little misleading because there really isn't much about the Italian language. However, it is packed with information about the way of life in Italy and the culture. I got through this book in less than a week and refer back to it very often for information regarding life in Italy. Not much detail in terms of history, but you can buy other books for that. This is the book for the traveller and perhaps for a foreigner living in Italy. Definately worth the small price tag. Buona Fortuna.
