It's all about how to encourage drawing, not how to draw. Love it!

I love this book because it teaches adults how to encourage children to express themselves through drawing, which is often a child's first or only 'written' language. These are not drawing lessons. The book offers ideas, games, and fun activities for helping children to freely build their drawing vocabularies in playful nonjudgemental ways. Although published in 1982, my book is still as relevant as ever - I just used it (in 2022) to teach a drawing discovery class (ages 5-8) and it was a hit! If you want to provide real opportunities for creative growth in children, get this book!!!
