I love Joinfostering

Schools are becoming increasingly segregated by language groups, with English language learners baring the brunt of this harmful practice. Joinfostering offers teachers a way to bring students of diverse language groups together to work side by side in engaging academic experiences. What I like most about this book is that it counters the assessment, transmission-oriented approaches to teaching found in many school governed by NCLB. Joinfostering principals makes a lot of sense for children. I recommend it totally. It is the best approach to working with English learners and English speakers.
