Do Your Duty, Like it or Not

This is definitely a Wade Everett book written by Will Cook, as he is the best when it comes to the cavalry story. Besides, this book was listed for sale also as by Wade Everett, a publishing house pen name used by both Will Cook and Giles Lutz. Lieutenant Linus McCaffey believed in doing your duty, like it or not. But when the assignment was something he didn't like, he looked at it as only Temporary Duty--something which would soon be over--and then you moved on to a new task. His new bride however wasn't so sure....This novel leaves the reader with some powerful images of life on the raw frontier of 1864 Arizona, and just how lawless and ruthless men can be to get their way. And how it takes a man with uncomprising courage and character to stand up against the spoilers of progress and law. Wade Everett, Will Cook westerns never disappoint, this one sure doesn't.
