My sons enjoy when I read this book to them. It is a great way to introduce historical figures that have interesting achievements which have changed the world. Since their are only a couple of pages about each person, I think a lot of information that would help describe their situations and what caused them to do what they did is missing. I guess we'll have to read their complete biographies for that.

This is an inspiring book to read to kids. I love reading about people who have accomplished amazing feats. As this book demonstrates one person can make a huge impact on the rest of humanity and their stories should be retold as inspiration to the next generation that nothing is out of reach.
