A book that was good enough
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 22 years ago
This book was good enough to grab my attention, especially because there weren't choices at every page, like some books which I don't like. This book was also exciting enough so that I was tempted to read on and on. I am also liking the fact that there is a VHS tape, and I can't wait to get that!So if you're looking for a good Choose Your Own Adventure story, you've come to the right one.
Good introductory tape on the Titanic
Published by Thriftbooks.com User , 26 years ago
The tape is good at introducing the Titanic story, posing questions, and then answering them using a mix of film footage, still photos, and computer animations to illustrate the narration. Much of the film footage is of ships other than either Titanic or her sister Olympic so some of the intended effect is lost. The information is broad is scope, from conceptual idea to finding the wreck, and presented in a clear and concise manner. It is hardly definitive, but does provide a good starting point for further reading. END

I'm in 3rd grade, and Terror on the Titanic was the best book I've ever read. I loved the way you could choose want you want to do. My favorite thing about it is that you can read it as many times as you want and choose a different story each time. Once when I read it, I saved the Titanic. I liked how if you are on page 9, you can choose what's going to happen next--it tells you if you choose this option, go to page 17. If you choose another option, go to page 42. I liked how the book says "You are on board the RMS Titanic." When I first got it, I was addicted to reading it! I read the first page and kept reading it while going up the escalator at the store, in the car on the way home, and then for the rest of the night. I was fascinated by how I could imagine it looks to be on the Titanic. So if you see this book, GET IT!
Fantasic. Rare Footage. Gripping Story. Best Docu-ever!

Of over 20 different video tapes, Terror on the Titanic was by far the most informative and compelling. I only wished it was ten volumes long. It included professional narration, 3-D Animated Graphics, and never-before seen footage. I highly recommend this tape to anyone who ever saw or rode in a boat! END
