I love the title of this book. It implies that what we are seeking lies deeply within is, was always there and really leads us forward whether we realize it or not. In short, this book is about getting quiet and listening to this inner wisdom and letting it guide you home. It is simply written, easy to understand and makes good psychological sense.

Cheri Huber resonates with many who are ready to explore something more than the "I, me, mine" and "more, more, more" culture in which we live. I have given this book as a gift to at least ten people. The book does not endorse a specific religious doctrine, but explores common sense ways to view the world, and ourselves, through compassionate eyes. Highly recommended.

Reader be forewarned - the typeset for this book is made to look like hand writing, so it's a little different. I actually liked the typeset and illustrations - it lent the book a very informal, friendly feel. I really enjoyed the book. I've been a lazy buddhist for some time, and this book motivated me to start sitting again. I shared the passage on attachment with my wife, as it explained the buddhist ideas on attachment far better than I had been able to, and she finally "got it". Highly recommended.

This is the best eight dollar investment in me I have made. It radically challenges the -way- people think and how they interact with the world.
