This book is great for toddlers when learning about textures and animals. They can feel a different texture on each page as well as look to see what the small mouse is doing on each page. My toddlers in the class love this book!

My local library uses Usborne books for their baby lap-sit reading program. My daughter has enjoyed many of their books so my husband and I wanted to get her a few for Christmas. The "That's not my..." series are great for children 15 months or younger. As a teacher and first-time mother, I'd recommend that parents spend the extra money on these books. They're well-constructed, colorful, and entertaining.

That's Not My Puppy: Its Coat Is Too Hairy is short and sweet on length, but wonderfully entertaining with textures. This is a great, sturdy board book that very little readers will enjoy multiple times. And, when you've explored all you want about the dogs, you can always discuss that cute little mouse who seems to appear on every single page! Cute, educational, and very, very entertaining. This is a must for your toddler's library.

I bought a couple of these touchy feely books for my son to introduce him to Spanish. They're his favorite books! He's 10 months old and loves the textures spots with his little fingers. He also loves the illustrations. I'm already planning on buying more for his birthday.
