I nannyed a two-year old boy last year that loved this book. He loved adopting other personas;chef, fireman, dinosaur, Big Bad Wolf etc, so he had several costumes that had been put together for him. Everytime I read this book to him, he'd run out to his costume basket, put on a hat, run back and jump into the living room with his arms outspread and I'd say, "That's not Santa!!" to have him run back to don another hat. He'd go through all his hats until he came in with his Santa hat. Last year the book was borrowed. This year I'm sending him his own. He can enjoy it as others read it to him and then in a few years he can read it for himself.
