Sergeant Lindsay Boxer tackles an ambitious case that spans San Francisco, L.A., and Chicago in this pulse-pounding thriller of "smart characters" and "shocking twists" (Lisa Gardner, #1 New York Times bestselling author). Three victims, three bullets, three cities. The shooters' aim is as fearsomely precise as their target selection. When Lindsay realizes that the fallen men and women excel in a lucrative, criminal activity, she leads the charge in the manhunt for the killers. As the casualty list expands, fear and fascination with this suspicious shooting gallery galvanizes the country. The victims were no angels, but are the shooters villains . . . or heroes?
How can Lindsey and Joe have a child and hardly be there for her?

I loved every book in this series. Whoever and however the two authors made it happen, it works.
20 terrible books more like it.

Never trust an author who puts out a book every three months. Patterson continues to spiral down his web of greed and watered down trash. Hasn’t put out anything original since. Kiss The Girls. Try John Hart, Giles Blunt, Chris Mooney, Jo Nesbo, Rob Pobi, JD Barker, Michael Robotham, Deon Meyer, Michael Marshall and Don Winslow if you want real thriller greats.
James Patterson, obviously, one of the greatest and most versatile writers to date!

date: non-fiction; crime etc he not only draws the readers into his story, they enter with a swift and violent kick of the splinter-like door. Both as law enforcement and criminal alike. A compelling author who pinches at your attention and finishes with a body slam that takes your breath away. Awesome with more to say when I finish books 16 through 24 (or 25)💁
