While sleeping during a missions conference, David Bredeman awakened to a call for everyone to stand. He jumped to his feet, expecting to be dismissed. To his surprise, well-meaning church members surrounded him and began praying. David soon found himself learning the ropes in Lima, Peru. Whether swashbuckling through the jungle or learning the language, his adventures proved entertaining and often funny. Dodging dangers like caimans, panthers and malaria, the whole lifestyle centered around spreading the gospel and enjoying the outdoors. Back in Lima, a young woman awaited and wondered if she and David might have a future together. This is the story of a man who accidentally found his passion and the woman who loved him.
