Granny is ready to crown her granddaughter at the assembly because Daisy won the school's Math-a-thon. But why is Granny not acting like herself?

Sure enough, it is Tegore who is impersonating Granny Roux, and it is Tegore who steals the Math-a-thon crown. That can only mean one thing: Tegore has kidnapped Granny. As Roopster and Daisy pursue Tegore, the trail leads them to the menacing Vulture's Roost, which is surely Tegore's hideout.
The lair is dark and unfamiliar; it would be easy for Daisy and Roopster to get lost. Thankfully, they have a map and know how to use it. Hopefully, they are not too late to save Granny Roux
Tammi Reiss of the Utah Starzz narrates the audiocassette version of this scary adventure. She knows that reading is important and that reading a map can be as useful as reading a defense.
