Teach a lesson!

Have a child that is forever looking for his shoes? We use Johnnie's misfortune as a reminder whenever shoes are laying around the house...."hope they don't get eaten by a horse!" It might not be the real lesson of the book, but it works in our house! Also teaches valuable lessons about teamwork and friendship. As with the other books in the series, it's entertaining and fun to read. The illustrations provide great visuals for those too young to read. After a couple of read throughs, even a preschooler can retell the story by looking at the pictures.

The Thumbs Up Johnnie series are a favorite at our house. There are great life lessons in every book and my kids love Johnnie's adventures.
