Great informational book of crewel hand embroidery. Small size, easy to carry. Big example picture one one page and the details on the other page side by side when you open. Easy to follow the directions. Must have item for both beginners and advanced stichers.

I found the trace-offs to be extreemly helpful in learning and using the various stitches tought in this book. The stitches are also set in alphabetical order for a quick referance on any given stitch. This is the best little embroidery book for the price.

This book is a great book for the novice and experienced embroiderer. It has beautiful color photos of the patterns in the book. Also excellent diagrams of the stitches used. I highly recommend this book to anyone with an interest in this craft.
