Roxanne wakes in a hospital after a near-death experience and it seems that everything she knows has vanished. Haunted by the loving music and shining beings she heard when she peeked into heaven, she... This description may be from another edition of this product.
The author has addressed a highly emotional topic and shed light on the issues that a foster dhild and caring foster family need to deal with. As a former foster parent myself I really relate to the situation depicted and the realistic circumstances described.
Great Book

It is nice to find a book that is inspirational and well written. It is easy to believe in the tangible and physical aspects of life, but much more difficult to hold faith in place and make it as much of a concrete part of your existence as waffles in the morning or sliced brisket in the evening. This book is like chocolate for the heart. It is also a well designed book. Pages have a nicer feel than you find in many commercial books. It's not the primary reason to buy a book, but the off-white of the pages and heavier stock make me feel like they should have sold the book for a few bucks more.
A very Heart-warming story

I really enjoyed reading "The Angel's Song." The story is compelling and true-to-life. I'm buying 6-7 copies to give as Christmas gifts. The ending is set at Christmas time, but the book could be read anytime. The author has realistically captured the slowly developing character of Rocky, a neglected and abandoned child that is placed into the scary environment of a foster-family. Those who deal with neglected and abused children or children in foster care would be enlightened by the reactions of Rocky and her foster siblings and parents.
Good Read

Rocky, in her short 7 years of life, had been used, abused, and starved of attention and nutrition. In her weakness of malnutrition an accident that nearly takes her life also sends her an angel. An unlikely angel, a Harley rider which she called "The Fat Man", found her and took her to the hospital where she started on the journey to knowing real happiness. The road was bumpy but she'd endured a lot, toughened a lot, and another angel from heaven, her grandmother, gives her comfort and knowledge to accept real love and family, and she finds the love and comfort of a loving Heavenly Father. This story starts off tough, but you rejoice in Rocky's future and new found happiness and security. It's a good read.

This book will help all count their blessings and remember that family is most important, especially during the holidays. The author does a masterful job of helping the reader understand what it would be like for a child to go from unfortunate circumstances to a loving home. I recommend this book. I have enjoyed it, and my wife has enjoyed it every Christmas for the last six years.
